Cleaning in Progress is a participatory performance that took place in the heart of Plymouth during Plymouth Art Weekender 2018, with support from Visual Arts Plymouth, Plymouth City Council and Arts Council England. The light-hearted, interactive encounter questions our responsibilities as civilians to keep Plymouth clean and tidy. Members of the public were invited to get involved, and were supplied with yellow tabards and cleaning equipment as they engaged in the ongoing conversation with the performers.
